Another great chapter in Making Mathematics with Needlework is on fractals. The main focus is on the Sierpinski triangle, as it lends itself nicely to crochet. Here's my small version, with only 5 iterations. I wanted to add a 6th recently, but unfortunately I made a border on it a few months ago.
Eventually I'd like to try a different fractal pattern. Perhaps a Pythagorean Tree?
