Cats but made out of yarn

The patterns for the realistic cats come from the book Knit Your Own Cat by Joanna Osborne and Sally Muir, and the round ones come from here.

Ginger

I'm proudest of this one, it has none of the problems that Bubbles had.

Bubbles

A pretty good kitten! However, if I had to nitpick, their chest is extremely puffed out and their hind legs are kinda janky. Also, forcing the red yarn into the miniscule hole in the bell was a Herculean task.

The Homunculus

The first cat I knitted. I didn't want to worry about different colors of yarn on top of the complex stitching patterns, so I decided to just make it all brown with no features. I didn't stuff it well, so it's kind of droopy. Also the pipe-cleaners that make the skeleton stick out of the tail and the left hind foot. And honestly the face is too mousey.

The other cats are displayed on nice spots on shelves of our living room, but the Homunculus is relegated to survey from the (out-of-sight) highest point in the room.
